What founders and operators ask before they apply or send us a challenge.
How much does it cost?
S$1,250 per startup per month for a founding package. That covers furnished desks and office facilities on the upper level, one allocated open equipment and storage bay on Level 4M, and shared, booked access to meeting and logistics facilities.
How many teams can join?
Six founding packages at launch. After that we run a waitlist.
Who is a good fit?
An operating team of two to four people doing genuine industrial or technical work: robotics, automation, machine vision, warehouse and logistics technology, predictive maintenance, inspection, fleet and yard technology, safety technology, robotic cleaning, or industrial hardware and equipment servicing.
Who is not a fit?
Office only software companies, consumer businesses with no industrial activity, anyone bringing unapproved hazardous materials, and heavy fabrication or testing that goes beyond what the site permits.
Can we store equipment and run tests?
Yes, inside your allocated bay and within the site, safety, insurance and storage rules we confirm with you in writing before you move in. Running a robot on the shared floor is done by booking the shared demo zone.
Can we receive pallets and deliveries?
There is a cargo lift and loading access on site. Logistics facilities are shared and booked ahead, not guaranteed on demand.
Is KIDOU an accelerator?
Not yet. KIDOU starts in 2027 as a workspace for six teams. A structured industrial accelerator is planned for 2028, once the workspace has a track record to build it on.
What are the lease term and deposit?
Term, deposit, access hours, insurance and responsibility for stored items are agreed in writing with each team before signing. Ask on your application and we will walk you through it.
Where exactly is it?
10 Terusan Edge, Singapore 619600, in Jurong Industrial Estate about a kilometre from Jurong Port. It is the blue building with the external stairs.
Can we keep our current office?
Yes. Many small hardware teams keep a central address and use KIDOU for the work that a central office cannot hold.
How do industrial companies get involved?
Describe a problem through the industrial challenge form. If a resident team fits, we introduce you directly and you agree the pilot between yourselves. There is no fee to you for the introduction.
When can we move in?
Founding packages open in 2027. Apply now to be considered for the first six.
