What founders and operators ask before they apply or send us a challenge.
What does a founding place include?
Shared use of the existing furnished office upstairs, plus a defined equipment and storage zone on the bare 3,268 sq ft Level 4M floor one storey below. The exact zone, approved use and commercial terms are agreed in writing before signing.
Are there six private offices?
No. The office upstairs is an existing open plan furnished workplace shared by the founding teams. Level 4M is also one flexible open floor. Each team receives a defined equipment zone, while circulation and testing space remain shared.
How many teams can join?
Six founding teams at launch. After that we run a waitlist.
Who is a good fit?
A small team serving a genuine industrial use case. This includes robotics and hardware as well as safety vision, warehouse software, industrial CRM, field service systems, predictive maintenance, digital twins, fleet technology and other software built for physical operations.
Do we need to build hardware?
No. Industrial software and AI teams are welcome when their customers operate factories, warehouses, fleets, workshops, ports or other physical sites. The important test is whether KIDOU can help the team reach industrial customers, run pilots or integrate with real operations.
Who is not a fit?
General software with no industrial customer or use case, consumer businesses with no industrial activity, anyone bringing unapproved hazardous materials, and heavy fabrication or testing that goes beyond what the site permits.
Can we store equipment and run tests?
Yes, inside your defined Level 4M zone and within the site, safety, insurance and storage rules confirmed before you move in. Use of the wider floor for testing is arranged so teams can work safely around one another.
Can we receive pallets and deliveries?
The building has a cargo lift and a ground level loading area. Approved deliveries and equipment movements must be arranged in advance and remain subject to building rules.
Is KIDOU an accelerator?
Not yet. KIDOU starts in 2027 as a workspace for six teams. A structured industrial accelerator is planned for 2028, once the workspace has a track record to build it on.
What are the lease term and deposit?
Term, deposit, access hours, insurance and responsibility for stored items are agreed in writing with each team before signing. Ask on your application and we will walk you through it.
Where exactly is it?
10 Terusan Edge, Singapore 619600, in Jurong Industrial Estate about a kilometre from Jurong Port. It is the blue building with the external stairs.
Can we keep our current office?
Yes. Many small hardware teams keep a central address and use KIDOU for the work that a central office cannot hold.
How do industrial companies get involved?
Describe a problem through the industrial challenge form. If a resident team fits, we introduce you directly and you agree the pilot between yourselves. There is no fee to you for the introduction.
When can we move in?
Founding places open in 2027. Apply now to be considered for the first six.
Could your team build here?
Tell us what you build and what you need to store. We read every application ourselves and reply personally, usually within a few working days. If you run an industrial operation nearby and have a problem worth a pilot, we want to hear that too.
